WELCOME

Hi and welcome to my small attempt to have a reference for my model railroad.  It is a 11.5' by 22' double deck layout in HO scale with digitrax DCC control. The lower deck is primarily the interchange and short dual gauge trackage representing an interchange between the Santa Fe traffic up and down the central coast. The layout begins with a spur into a small port town at the western terminus of the narrow gauge (NG) railroad; the "Western and Terminal RR and Navigation Co".

This NG line runs up into the Tehachapi mountains.  The climb to the upper level is served by a seventy-foot-long "no-lix" around the walls and long center peninsula on the NG.  The climb up takes you thru several small towns and upper level industries. It ends at the upper engine yard at Alta.
